BROOKLYN, NY is the borough of New York City that the brand is operated out of, a representation of the art scene in of itself. LENAPEHOKING is the unceded land that New York City currently sits on, it is the name that the Lenape people have called this land for millenia. As an Indigenous-owned business we have a responsibility to be a leader in these educational and societally challenging conversations. H2Y brings this design to its Indigenous and non-Indigenous community as an educational conversation starter for when it is worn in public in places and by people who'd otherwise not carry the opportunity of LENAPEHOKING being made aware of. CREATIVE UTILITY is what this brand stands on, H2Y is not meeting it's mission if creatives are not utilizing it and not becoming intertwined with the most creative artists of today.
